Today we’re excited to introduce Mutual Aid 412, a new Relai 3 app built to support neighbors helping neighbors throughout the greater Pittsburgh region. Designed alongside local organizers and powered by Relai Exchange Zones (EZs), the app provides a simple, safe, and asynchronous way to share resources, deliver support, and coordinate community care without the usual scheduling friction.
Whether someone is donating supplies, fulfilling requests, volunteering time, or picking up essential items, the app keeps every exchange organized, trackable, and accessible on each person’s schedule.
How It Works
Mutual Aid 412 is designed around everyday generosity. Contributors can drop off items at an EZ when convenient. Recipients can pick them up when their schedule allows. Volunteers can step in to help transport or fulfill requests. Every interaction is asynchronous and supported by real-time status updates, ensuring transparency, safety, and efficiency.
